About Owner Kathy Rougelot
Cut Loose Hair Studio, an Aveda™ hair studio in "Lakeview" New Orleans, has been owned and managed by Kathy Rougelot for over 20 years. Before Kathy was trained in the Aveda™ school of styling, she was part of a design team for Zotos Int. for 15 years, where she studied in New York and abroad. She performed platform work as well as part of a "Core Team" to teach the new trends. After Katrina, Cut Loose moved to Magazine St. for five years. Even though it was a very large and exciting salon, it was time for Cut Loose Hair Studio to move back to its roots in Lakeview as a boutique salon. Using all that she has learned with color, cutting and texture, she now focuses on building her team in a small intimate environment, where the emphasis is on "Personal" attention to our clients. The studio works from start to finish, with no departmentalization, directly with our clients. We also pride ourselves only using Aveda™ products.
